艺术家，靠你的作品去呐喊、靠你的作品去说话

“那时大家谈得最多的艺术家是凡高，因为通过传记了解他很穷，而我们也很穷，起码在这一点上我们等同于凡高，但贫困不等于伟大的艺术，很多艺术家陶醉于自己的悲剧命运中，他们事实上爱的不是艺术，而是贫困，爱上了虚妄中的悲剧英雄。

其实我们贫困不如农民，苦难不如矿工，但我们是画画的或者我们是弹琴的，我们就要做好手边最具体的事情。

世界上不存在没有作品的艺术家。

现在我信奉的是：艺术家，靠你的作品去呐喊、靠你的作品去说话。”
